A girl (Christina), while going to a
boarding school, is living with a couple who own an Inn for kids.
She finds out that they are trying to destroy her, and that they

Gallows Hill

J DUN
This girl moves to a new town with her mom.
She meets a boy who moved there recently, and they find out that in
their former lives, the whole town was part of the Salem Witch
Trials. I dislike it because rebirth is not something I find
interesting. However, it was well written.

the new computers, only to learn they contain viruses. I like
this book because of all the gadgets Alex gets to use and how he is
always just narrowly escaping being caught snooping around.

Stravaganza: City of Stars by Mary Hoffman

This book is about a 14 or 15 year old girl
who gets a talisman to another world full of plots and horse races.
She even wins the biggest horse race of the year. I liked this
book a lot because of all the different types of "groups" and the
various plots. I particularly like the fact the author brings
back characters from other books.
